{"id":1525,"date":"2018-10-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-04T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bsiw.pl\/upcoming-changes-in-company-law\/"},"modified":"2018-11-28T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-11-27T23:00:00","slug":"upcoming-changes-in-company-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bsiw.pl\/en\/upcoming-changes-in-company-law\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming changes in company law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 31, 2018, the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology presented to the Government a draft of an act aimed at introducing legal changes important for entrepreneurs, including, among others, changes concerning the functioning of commercial companies.<\/p>\n<p>According to the assumptions of the draft, the principles of submitting resignations by members of the board of a limited liability company and a joint-stock company are to change. The amendment introduces the rule according to which in the event that the resignation would lead to a lack of management, the person submitting the resignation will be obliged to convene the shareholders&#8217; meeting in order to appoint a successor.
