The Law Firm succeeded in litigation with one of the greatest insurance companies in Poland.
The litigation concerned claims upon the civil liability insurance contract of the contractor that performed demolition of power plants. During the performance of demolition works, the foundation slab has been damaged. The contractor has repaired it and transferred the claim towards the insurer for repayment of incurred cost to the Law Firm’s Clients as settlement of economic cooperation.
During the litigation we have proved that the defective performance of works exceeded the breach of the contract and constituted a tort and not a gross negligence which has been excluded from insurance coverage.
The total awarded amount with interest exceeds 400.000 PLN.
