Representing a group of German entrepreneurs of the wood industry, the Law Firm has participated in the session of the Forest – Timber Commission. The Commission is an advisory body appointed by the Director-General of State Forests. In the session of the Commission take part the entrepreneurs that buy timber from State Forests, as well as chambers of commerce, associations and other entities interested in forestry.
The aim of the Commission’s sessions is to give opinions concerning the rules of sale of timber by State Forests. These rules shall provide equal treatment of all market participants and running the forestry with respect towards the natural environment and the principle of sustainable development.
