On the 22nd February 2017 the Court of Appeal in Poznań issued a verdict favorable for our Client, dismissing the opponent’s appeal against the judgment of the District Court.
The District Court dismissed the claim against our client for payment the amount equaling 1.240.597 PLN together with statutory costs and interest. Demands of the statement of claim were based on alleged defects of the technological line for production the rye straw briquette, which was produced and sold by our client.
Acting on behalf of the client, from the beginning of the proceeding we were justifying his lack of liability by indicating that the delivered devices were compliant with the technical specification and that the purchaser were using it incorrectly.
The verdict of the Court of Appeal legitimately terminates the proceedings and confirms the stand taken by the Firm.
