The law firm Babiaczyk, Skrocki i Wspólnicy, representing the general contractor for a number of commercial facilities for an investor belonging to a globally operating capital group, has filed a claim for payment of more than 25 million EUR in remuneration for the completed construction works.
The Law Firm’s activities at the pre-trial stage include, in particular, the analysis of construction contracts and the analysis of the investor’s financial situation, including the contracts submitted by the investor for obtaining financing.
Regardless of the demand for payment, the Law Firm applies for a security in the form of a bank guarantee, indicating the invalidity of contractual provisions making the exercise of this right by the contractor subject to conditions.
