In December 2015 we succeeded in another project concerning planning and execution of comprehensive compliance audit in two commercial companies.
The Law Firm’s Client is German concern operating in the branch of the production of medical furniture and equipment for hospitals, sanatoriums, and rest-homes. The concern has been established in 1899, operates in 60 countries of the world, employs above 1.000 persons and has an annual turnover in excess of 100 million euro.
The activities of the Law Firm consisted in comprehensive examination of the aspects of operation of the Client’s two Polish companies, in particular the area of administrative law, in particular the construction law, environmental law, labour law, and consumer protection law. The result of the audit was two reports, prepared by the Law Firm with analysis of the whole operation of the examined companies concerning the applicable legal regulations and with actions, recommended by the Law Firm in order to minimize any legal risks for the Client.
Within the project the Law Firm has introduced also an innovative solution „Compliance Hotline” consisting in making accessible for all employees of the examined companies special phone number in order to stay in touch with the lawyers and to inform and report, also anonymously, the possible irregularities.
