On January 1, 2017 new legal act came into force which makes many changes in order to improve the legal surrounding of entrepreneurs.
The legal act amends in total 20 other acts including the Civil Code, Labor Code, Building Law and tax laws.
The most important changes concern new regulations of proxy in the Civil Code that allows joint actions of the proxy together with member of the management board or partner of a company, as well as the change of the method of counting the deadlines – currently the deadline may not fall also on Saturday.
The act however introduces also the regulations unfavorable for entrepreneurs. This include the amendment in the labor law that extend the deadlines for the employee to appeal to the labor court against the termination of employment contract.
