On December 25, 2014 the new law on consumer rights enters into force. It brings many important changes for all entrepreneurs that operate in the B2C area. The law introduces new regulations i.a. concerning the entrepreneurs’ information obligations, the consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract as well as the warranty and guarantee liability.
The law amends the Civil Code i.a. within the scope of the recourse claims towards the original seller of a defective thing and abolishes the current laws in force on the protection of certain consumer rights and on specific terms and conditions of consumer sale.
The law includes also the regulations concerning the financial and insurance sector and telephone marketing operation.
