On October 28, 2022, with the participation of lawyers from the litigation department of the law firm Babiaczyk, Skrocki and Partners, an out-of-court settlement was concluded between the Firm’s Client and its contractor.
The subject of the settlement was the settlement of disputed claims, including interest, on account of remuneration for construction works carried out by the Law Firm’s Client as a general contractor under a contract with a total value of more than EUR 35,000,000.
The net amount of EUR 500,000 paid, together with due VAT, by the Law Firm’s Client’s counterparty in connection with the settlement, together with previously made repayments, allowed the Client’s claims to be satisfied in full and, consequently, the previously filed lawsuit to be withdrawn even before the first hearing began
