In July 2023, the lawyers of Babiaczyk, Skrocki and Partners drew up and filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Firm’s Client in the Regional Court in Krakow for payment of more than EUR 1,500,000, plus interest for delay and litigation costs. The claims are based on the execution and handover by the Law Firm’s Client of the object that is the subject of the construction contract, which includes a complex of warehouse, production and service buildings, as well as the establishment of contractual securities and the provision of documentation required by the client. The total value of the subject matter of the entire contract exceeded EUR 30,000,000.
After the lawsuit was filed, the defendant voluntarily paid the Law Firm’s client the entire claimed principal. Currently, the Firm’s lawyers are taking steps to bring about payment to the Client of interest and litigation costs, including through a possible settlement with the defendant.
