As of 1 January 2021, a new specialist court will commence operation, whose task will be to adjudicate complaints against judgments of the National Appeal Chamber at the President of the Public Procurement Office. This is due to the entry into force of the new Public Procurement Law of 11 September 2019.
All complaints will be heard in the XXIII Department of Commercial Appeal and Public Procurement of the District Court in Warsaw.
For contractors wishing to appeal a judgment of the National Appeal Chamber, this may mean, at least initially, that they will have to wait longer for a ruling until the department is properly staffed.
